La première édition de cet événement organisé par la CGECI et son partenaire technique AETS aura pour thème :
« Structuration et accélération des mécanismes de financement et d'investissement verts »
Conçu comme un véritable catalyseur, ce séminaire d'ateliers et de conférences réunissant des acteurs majeurs du paysage économique de la sous-région ainsi que des acteurs internationaux impliqués dans la transition climatique abordera toutes les questions que nous devons nous poser pour accompagner une transition vers une économie responsable en Côte d'Ivoire.

Nous sommes convaincus que cette transformation passe par un partage approfondi des connaissances, une mobilisation judicieuse des actifs disponibles et la création d'un hub dynamique. Ces trois leviers jouent un rôle essentiel pour renverser le statu quo actuel, combattre les causes de la crise climatique en Afrique et exploiter au mieux les opportunités liées à ce changement de paradigme.
Nous sommes impatients d'accueillir des leaders d'opinion, des innovateurs, des investisseurs et des experts des secteurs public et privé pour échanger des idées innovantes, explorer de nouvelles opportunités d'investissement et tracer une voie prometteuse vers une économie verte et durable.

CAP Green entend positionner la sous-région comme un centre d'excellence en matière d'économie verte visant la production et la diffusion de connaissances, ainsi que le développement de compétences et d'outils en vue de la transition verte du pays.
Le CAP Green Knowledge Center sera disponible, entre autres, par le biais des initiatives suivantes :
  • Un centre d'expertise sur le climat et l'environnement
  • Un rapport d'expert annuel sur les implications du changement climatique en Côte d'Ivoire pour le secteur privé
  • Contenu scientifique présenté lors de la conférence et diffusé par la suite
  • Partenariats (MoU) avec des institutions universitaires, techniques, etc.
  • Autres contenus et activités qui constitueront une véritable boîte à outils

ACTIFS

À travers les différents instruments et actifs, l'idée de cette initiative est de contribuer au financement de projets verts et à la conclusion de partenariats avec des investisseurs verts. CAP GREEN fonctionne donc comme un hub qui identifie, structure et accélère la clôture financière de projets verts structurants en Côte d'Ivoire.
Le Hub permettra également un financement innovant pour le climat grâce à des avancées telles que :
  • Réaliser des transactions liées aux crédits carbone en Côte d'Ivoire
  • Un portefeuille d'investissements pour l'adaptation et l'atténuation du changement climatique
  • Une initiative d'entrepreneuriat vert
  • Une facilité pour accélérer la préparation de projets verts

HUB

La création d'une plateforme dans le cadre de CAP GREEN répond à un impératif : placer les questions environnementales sur la table des discussions stratégiques entre les responsables et les dirigeants du secteur privé et public ivoirien, les partenaires au développement et les bailleurs de fonds.
Ce levier sera mis en œuvre à travers les instruments suivants :
  • Une conférence annuelle de CAP Green
  • Un secrétariat pour l'économie verte
  • Une tournée de présentation de l'initiative CAP Green
  • Affiliation à CAP Green
  • Une stratégie sur les programmes et projets spécifiques à réaliser en Côte d'Ivoire
  • Suivi post-conférence de la structuration et de la mise en œuvre des projets des membres via des ateliers de suivi efficaces de la PAC Green
